Overview
[BORRADOR v1 — pendiente de revisión] Bascout is a B2B marketplace built to serve the HORECA channel in Switzerland, connecting food and beverage suppliers with buyers across the industry. The platform centralises sourcing and procurement for specialty products — wines, spirits, cured meats and other gourmet goods — replacing scattered supplier relationships with a single digital catalogue. Sellers list and manage their inventory while buyers browse, compare and order directly through the platform, which supports multiple languages to match Switzerland's diverse business landscape. The project covered the marketplace experience end to end, from vendor onboarding to product discovery, with a focus on making a traditionally relationship-driven trade — Swiss HORECA sourcing — work smoothly online.
